Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Spades Night, a free card game run by mhmm s.r.o.. By playing you agree to them. If you play inside Discord, Discord's Terms of Service apply as well.

The game

  • Spades Night is free. There are no purchases, no wagers and no prizes. Scores are for bragging rights only.
  • You need to be at least 13, or the minimum age to use Discord in your country, whichever is higher.
  • We may change, pause or end the game or any feature at any time. We will try to give notice for anything major.

Your account

Your identity comes from Discord, from an email sign-in link, or from a guest session in your browser. Keep your Discord account and your email secure; whatever happens at a table under your name is on you. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms.

Table manners

Trash talk is the point. Abuse is not. Do not:

  • harass, threaten or discriminate against other players;
  • cheat, exploit bugs, automate play, or interfere with the servers;
  • impersonate other people or mhmm s.r.o.;
  • use the game to break any law.

Players can mute your emotes. We can remove you from tables or from the game entirely.

Bots

Empty seats are filled by computer players, always labeled as bots. A bot may take over a seat when a player disconnects or times out twice in a row; the player can return between hands.

Content and ownership

The game, its artwork, sounds, announcer lines and code belong to mhmm s.r.o. or its licensors (see Credits in Settings). You get a personal, non-transferable licence to play. You may stream and record your games freely.

No warranty

The game is provided as is. We do not promise it will be available, bug-free or that a dropped connection will not cost you a hand. To the extent the law allows, mhmm s.r.o. is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from play; our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us, which is nothing.

Privacy

How we handle your data is described in the Privacy Policy.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date above shows the current version and continued play means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which mhmm s.r.o. is registered. Questions: [email protected].
